Is Haunted Chocolatier connected to Stardew Valley?+
It is a brand-new standalone game by ConcernedApe. It shares a similar cozy pixel-art style and the “town game” spirit, but it is coded from scratch with a different theme, combat system, and setting. Barone describes it as “the moon to Stardew Valley’s sun.”
What is the official release date?+
There is currently no official release date. ConcernedApe is working solo and has stated he will release it only when it is 100% complete and polished — “it will come out when it’s done.”
Will Haunted Chocolatier have multiplayer?+
No. ConcernedApe has confirmed Haunted Chocolatier is being developed strictly as a single-player action RPG and shopkeeping simulation. (Stardew Valley gained multiplayer after launch; HC is not following that path.)
Which platforms will the game be available on?+
PC (Windows) is the 100% confirmed primary target platform. ConcernedApe has said he intends to bring it to other major platforms “at a later stage,” but no console versions are committed or announced.
